The KEF E301C centre speaker has been inspired by the design of the Kef Egg and the Kef KHT2005 and KHT3005 speakers, The E301C resumes the their iconic shape and makes it more contemporary. The aluminium base tilts, allowing those who wish to do so to mount the E301C onto the wall, the connector that allows you to do this is hidden in the base in order to make the wiring as discreet as it can be.

The KEF E301C has been designed as a perfectly balanced system with the crossover, cabinet and drivers working together in harmony. To eliminate secondary radiation and cabinet colouration, this centre speaker's enclosure is heavily reinforced with internal ribbing and damping technologies that work to ensure sonic accuracy and make sure there are no unwanted resonances. The low diffraction cabinet has been carefully engineered to minimise scattering of the output, meaning nothing subtracts from, nor adds to, the sound from the driver.

The KEF E301C centre speaker features a new 4.25" Uni-Q driver array. Originally designed for the multiple award-winning Q Series, the Uni-Q driver array boasts impressively wide dispersion characteristics and sonic purity, enabling this centre speaker to deliver an extraordinarily natural sound quality.

The Uni-Q tweeter, included at the centre of the midrange cone, is vented in order to prevent distortion-inducing high pressure from building up behind the dome. As a result, the response in the critical vocal region remains intricately detailed with every nuance of the original recording. Kef's "Tangerine" waveguide encourages the sound to evenly radiate, thus increasing the dispersion as well as the sensitivity of the tweeter for a more natural performance throughout the listening area.
